Well, she's all nice & clean. Washed off months of dirt & debris, buffed her with polishing compound, wash her twice more to remove the polish, then got the old Turtle Wax from the garage & got the wax on, then wiped it all off in the dark, all while dodging the mosquito's wrath. Now the paint is as smooth as a baby's bottom, but I notice all the paint chips even more. Time to see if I can get matching paint to touch up the exterior before the winter sets in. If I can get new shocks & struts on, and maybe a brake job as well, I might not loathe driving my Focus as much as I do now. That depends on how much $$$ it will cost, and the kids just outgrew 90% of their clothes they had in their closets, so that comes first, apparently.

Looks good.
Not sure if you like the "custom" look, but I have a pair of chrome aftermarket taillights for the Focus hatch if you'd want them. Price would be stupidly cheap (maybe just shipping, even), since they're just taking up space in my garage. Plug-'n'-Play, no need to do any wiring or anything, just a few screws.
They look more or less like these but the uppermost element being a red reflector.
