I remember staying at a 6 years ago. The walls were concrete block and the TV had to be fed quarters. Still hate them.

While we're on the subject of motels, would anyone care to recommend specific chains good for cheap rooms during a cross country trip?

I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep in my miata for 2-3 nights straight (I'm 6'1").

I've always had good luck with Best Western. The prices vary by location quite a bit though. I usually use Hotels.com to book a hotel while on a road trip.
