Remember !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I posted weeks ago? I haven't actually taken recent photos of it, so last Saturday, I decided to check on it. There was a surprise though...because that car is still for sale!
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
On August 3, 2013, I visited a friend's house for school work. Since he lived West Greenhills, I've decided to enter the neighborhood to snag some shots of the Corrado. As I entered the street I noticed a barkada (friend group) talking to each other, but I didn't mind them until I went out of my car (silver Innova; above, right side) . I quickly got out, took pictures (with my Sony DSC-W350) and immediately told my driver "Go! Go! GO!" as the group saw me. I thought they didn't give a damn about me! As we exited the street, one of the guys told my driver to stop. At first, I thought he will tell me to delete those photos. However, the guy asked me if I'm gonna buy it.
I was surprised indeed. Apparently, the owner was trying to sell the car but didn't get any responses from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , so he just let it rot on the street.
It's so sad to see this rare VW suffer the heat and the storms of the Philippines for six years. I haven't met the owner yet, so I hope the price (PHP250,000/US$5,743) will devalue for me to buy one!

I saw one in Malibu a couple weeks ago. It was a VR6 and was parked in the driveway of a $20,000,000 beach house next to an SLS

I'm with you on that vow as well. I can't imagine anything but regret if I ever departed with my first car (which, sadly, I don't have yet).
