I approve of this message.
Please tell me you've got iRacing or will at least promise to try iRacing?
Also I recommend keeping an eye out for a set of Fanatec Clubsport Pedals v1 or v2. They can connect via USB direct to the PC and would be a huge upgrade over the G27 pedals.

Even the normal Fanatec CSR pdeals are a big upgrade over those. I belive they're compatible too.

Here's a friend's setup. He even put a helmet on and set a fan to blow at him for the lulz:

Also if the spacing of the G27 pedals are too close, just unscrew them from the base. They are all self contained so they can be re-positioned or even hung if desired. I have a G25 and have considered doing this before. Heh I've also been tempted to replace the small wheel with a real one, there are adapters out there for that very purpose.
Have fun!
