I'm actually glad this movie is rated R. I love it when they say fuck the kids and making more money. THIS is going to be a rated R movie.

Here's my problem though. Its suppossed to take place like a hundred years in the future, when the earth has gone to shit and no one has any money right?
Can you think of one car LESS likely to still be on the road, held together by spit and bubblegum than the GT-R? Because i dont think i can.
Which is probably why i'm not going to see this movie. That and I played Deponia.

One car less likely to still be on the road? Nissan makes pretty reliable cars.

It's not really the reliability i'm concerned with, everything is eventually going to break down in a hundred years.
It's the fact that they didn't make that many. Not many means not many to cannibalize for parts. And the parts you'll need! Bear in mind the GT-R is AWD, has 2(!) driveshafts, 2 turbos and a DCT gearbox. There's a lot to go wrong and not a lot of options for fixing it.

Meh, I heard this was a highly politically motivated movie. I'm not fond of "let's help the government look good" movies.
