Last night I was driving home right before the beginning of a thunderstorm. It hadn't started raining yet but I could see the lightning in the distance. Then this song came on.

Next thing I know I check my speedometer and I'm about 12 over. Nothing too serious, it definitely could have been worse, but it felt so good to accelerate when it was playing.

What song does that to you?

ZZ Top makes me speed, but cruise. Adds about 20hp to the car.

AC/DC adds around 50hp, makes me drive fast, crazy, but not stupid.

The entire Initial D soundtrack is not safe driving music. Say what you want for or against the show itself the soundtrack will invoke a very specific reaction while driving. Either that or make you want to go drive.

I have a fun story about your first song :D
last month, whilst in Serbia (small European country) I was driving a beaten to fuck VW Golf/Rabbit Mk2 Diesel. it has about 55 horsepower, but when this thing came on, I swear it went like a tuned EVO 10 on slicks. I glanced down at the speedometer, and noticed that I was going waaay too fast for the very narrow, twisty road up a hill, outside of a major city. But , it was awesome anyways :D!

This worked better when I had a 400hp Mustang, but I always loved this opening, the rest makes me drive fast no matter what I'm driving.
