Here's what I'm messing with. The foglight vinyl looks like shit up close, going to try again with a different material in a few days. The badges are okay, a few bubbles up close but I've got plenty of red to try again later if it bothers me too much.
I love it on the back. The red is a perfect match for the red in the RS badge, it looks good.
I started on the wheel caps today, then got startled by a lawnmower and scratched the first cap :(. Oh well, shit happens. It's an ugly scratch up close, impossible to see at a distance. Fortunately it's on the little wheel cap, it should be pretty easy to get a replacement (right?!) if it becomes an annoyance. Someone with paint correction skillz could probably fix it pretty easily as well.
Going to finish the wheel caps today, I'm not entirely confident they'll hold up with close inspection. Much more difficult to trim than the other caps. Perhaps if I can't do a job that's good enough for my eyes, I'll take it to a professional and just have them re-do it better than I ever could.

I did a latex based matte black on my bowties. Against the silver of my car, it looks amazing! I see the gold ones and think they look weird now.

You know, I hadn't really considered this up until now but that is a good looking front end.
I can see this design holding up well as the decades roll on.

The nose is a little droopy and beaky, but I think it's rather nice. It's boy racerish without screaming in your face. The RS foglamps look great, and the headlight design is brilliant.

Not yet, I wanted to try vinyl first to make sure I would like it. If I can't get the vinyl to work right, I'll try spray tint.

IIRC, it was made by VHT, not sure how old the can was.

I like the 130r's grill, but I think if they did the headlights like the Sonic it might look better. Less squinty
