I saw my first Rapide in the wild yesterday, in Burlington, VT. That's right, I live in the 911 Capital of Canada* where Ferraris are relatively common during the summer and where I've even seen the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione**, and had never yet seen a real-life Aston Martin Rapide.

It was absolutely gorgeous, even if it was a relatively boring silver colour. My wife liked it, too, although she made a very good point - the back window is really, really small.

No picture because I was driving. Sorry.

Has anybody else seen one in real life, and if so, in which colour?

* Facts not verified
** I'm pretty sure it was, but I was barreling past on my bicycle at like a million miles per hour. But let's be honest, it'd be hard to mistake that car for anything else. It was so very red.

I have even seen one being rearended by a Peugeot. But it was a very low speed so no problemo. I have seen two more, but for me as with the Panamera for Porsche, this is the wrond AM. Still if I had to choose one really expensive sedan, I will go with the AM. I am just a fanboy.

Personally, I think it's the "right" Aston Martin for me because I could get the kids in it (they even offer custom-fit child seats as options).

The problem is that (1) I have no money, and (2) we're probably going to have a third child. Oops!

I spotted one in downtown Little Rock a couple weeks ago. I walked out of the lobby of the hotel just in time to see it pull up. Oh, what a glorious sound!

It was white with a heavy tint on the windows. Photo on link:
