anyone else noticed that clicking on your notification (such as so and so recommended your post) will take you to the page, but no longer takes you down to the actual post?

Yep, and my notification drop-down isn't loading past the 3rd notification. The bottom of the menu just cuts it off.

You can scroll in it that drop down menu now. I'm not sure I see the point of it unless it is going to show all unread notifications instead of just five though.

Mine seems to take me to the right post. :/
Add a Kinja Help tag to your post and the techs can chime in and help you out.

I can't scroll in mine. At the present time, only two notifications show up, until I click to see all of them.

Likewise.

I got a reply from Ernie at Gawker IT. They're aware of it, and a fix should be coming soon.

Sometimes it works properly, sometimes it wont. For now, a pretty solid work around is to click the notification, and if it doesn't bring you to the specific reply, click it again. That should bring you to it.

Must just be a bug. I think Chrome and Firefox are probably the most compatible browsers. I know not everyone has the freedom to use their browser of choice at whatever computer they may be at but if you have the chance, try one of those.
Like I said, likely just a bug and they'll have it working soon, probably, eventually.

Notifications are back to normal now for me. I use FF. Gawker techs are working on why I'm getting the mobile "Compose" on my desktop. I don't know if anybody else is still in the same situation.

Mine's still taking me to the post, but it has been taking a little extra longer.

This should be fixed now. Let us know if you see otherwise.
