First shot (not the header image, but the first series one, with the building interior) is from Toyota's Paris outfit on the Champs-Élysées. Not a dealer, but a little display where they had (when I was there) that 2000GT, a LeMans car, a GT86 TRD-esque concept, and some classic roadsters. I recall telling you about this at some other point, but I felt it worth mentioning.
Nice collection of shots for that car. Shame those are so unbelievably rare.

Yup, you did tell me, but thanks for welding it into my brain. I HAVE to go there when I get to Paris! Sadly, my family despises cars because of me...

It really is probably the most beautiful Toyota ever. Why can't they clone it today. I'd not turn my nose up on a really cool retro 2000. And I'm not a huge Toyota fan.

I guess a lot of people don't know about this car and would rather buy a European classic? I mean, you generally don't hear people say they'd take a Toyota over a Ferrari.

I love Japanese classics, and I really love classic Toyotas, and I love the 2000GT most of all. I love classic Skylines, but given unlimited funds and a choice between the two (and if I had to hypothetically choose instead of just BUY ALL THE THINGS!), I just might walk away one 2000GT richer.
for me this approaches the Holy Grail of car porn.
