I think it would be fun to see your hauls as well show my own from week to week if anyone else likes to read and collect comix.
Also, I just ran out of bags and board and have 30 books left to cover. My OCD is going nuts.

I am a bad person, all of my comics are digital.

I actually started with digital comics, but I prefer being able to feel the comic in my hands.
I'm not that big of a snob/purist like some folks, but I have a huge hesitation when it comes to lending out issues. It's almost on par with who I let drive my truck.

Just my Calvin and Hobbes, Peanuts, and Garfield books.

Calvin and Hobbes is a family affair in our household. Most of my dad's computer/phone wallpapers are panels from the strips.

It's long been a favorite of mine, but I've never read it in the paper, only my books.

I read all of my comics on my phone when work gets slow :)

Used to. Until about 2002 or so when I realized I was running out of space in the house. Mine is mainly manga: Nausicaa, Akira, Appleseed, Bubblegum Crisis, Alan Moore Dark Knight, Watchmen, Miracleman, V for Vendetta are the ones right off the top of my head.
After a decade out of comics, I'm just realizing that it all turned digital - Attack on Titan, just read all of Zipang which I found while trying to find more images of my new crushes Takao and Kongou from Arpeggio of Blue Steel

I filled a whole long box tonight and just ordered five more (for the future). I'm already a bit concerned what will happen/where I will store them when I graduate from college.
My brother likes to read Manga from the Anime he watches and keeps pushing me to read them. I'm already swamped in comics, but I've heard awesome things about Attack on Titan.

Exactly with the long boxes - eventually you have to deal with the question "what am I going to do with them all?"
I guess manga depends on what you want. If you're superhero, then no generally. If you want good and different storytelling, then yes. Even more than Attack on Titan, the manga Nausicaa (the famous Miyazake of more recent Totoro, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle fame) is an epic novel more on the Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones literary level. Attack on Titan or even the one I just discovered (for WWII battleship geeks), Zipang are seriously good gripping stories but not on the epic novel level like Nausicaa.

I ended up finding 63gigs of marvel on a torrent, I made my way through about a third of it before I switched back to my weekly manga updates.

I don't think my parents mind me leaving longboxes at home, but I'll need to build something nice out of wood so it's not that big of an eyesore, haha.
I'm familiar with Miyazake, excellent storyteller.

Yeah, lol, turns out I am not a fan of classic comic books. (Oh and a disclaimer, I did have a marvel online comic subscription for a few months, but cancelled after I found a shit ton of missing comics leaving huge plot holes in story lines). So I really did try being honest.
