I've frequently been looking for long interesting story's on Oppo, then today it hit me! Get Doug Demuro's Plays With Cars . Well, I have an iPhone 4, so I downloaded the Kindle app, and clicked the search button, and it didn't pop up. After a million try's, I finally got the book to pop up, but only the sample book. I read the whole sample and tried to get the full book to download, but it didn't work. Now if I go to the search menu it only searches in the "library".
Help please?

Don't know if this works on iPhone (/superior tone) but you could try downloading it on your computer and then transferring it via USB cable / Lightning. Kindle should automatically recognize the new book.
Also, if you download something on Amazon's Kindle website from the laptop, you should be able to access it on your phone's Kindle app via cloud storage, if you're connected to the internet. That means that you could download it from Amazon to your phone. They don't make you pay once for a laptop version and again for a phone version of each book, once you buy it, it and as many downloads as you want and any form, are yours. It's one of the major appeals.

Wow! Thanks! I never knew. Thanks for the help and taking the time to write that.
A 911 in the fall for your time:
EDIT: Worked in about 1 minute!

It's so stupid. You actually have to buy the thing on Amazon, then
send it to your Kindle app.
You can't buy it through the Kindle app. So go to Amazon's mobile homepage, search for it, then click 'buy' and have it sent to your iPhone. Apple apparently has controls on buying things through apps.
FYI, it's also available on iTunes which may be a bit easier.

By the way — I really appreciate you buying it! Please let me know what you think!

I saw it was on iTunes from your website! I haven't set up iTunes on my phone though, so I didn't want to go through that. So far I'm on chapter 4 and it's fantastic. I love the way it feels more like a story being told to you in real life then reading. I guess it's the added in humor and extra information.

I just read Elise Across America. When you wrote about arriving at Dan's house to honk the horn so he can pull you out, I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath! Actually all the things about having people put you in and pull you out of the car made me laugh extremely hard. My Dad has had 3 Elise's over the years, (I can't drive, but I have ridden in them) and I know exactly what you are saying.

Hah! I have to say, I have no regrets about selling mine. It was a fun car to have for six months, but I don't know how someone could have 3 over the years! By the end, the simple idea of getting in was a chore.

Yup, he is also about 5' 7", so it was probably easier. He get cars and keeps them for 2-6 months and then sells for a profit, so he probably had 3 over 5-6 years. I think he would remember the positives and get another. :)

Being shorter is definitely a bonus... but that ride quality! It also depends on how many cars you have. It's a great third car to drive only occasionally. As a second car, it's a bit tougher.
