dude badass, at home, I switched my 0.06 -1.02 AT&T to 38-50 Comcast plus TV for $5 more lol :] 24 is what we are paying for here at work, 1.66 is the most it's been all day :(

I was screwed for choice out here on Long Island as Optimum (Time Warner) had a huge monopoly out here until Verizon was able to run fiber lines out here. Until Verizon came along, speeds were barely above 500kb/s. This is certainly much better than that shithole intermittent service.

What the hell are you people paying for your internet? Seriously? I'm paying like 100 dollars for this. Fios isn't on my street, and Optimum is the only place I can get my internet from the tristate area.

EDIT: wait a minute. This isn't right. my test says my download is 2.3mb/s and 0.65mb/s upload. How did it switch to 18.5mb/s? Here's my real result ( http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3189… )

I'm supposedly paying more per month for "12 mb/s download" speed. This is the fastest it's ever tested.

Everytime the AT&T techs come out to check it, their devices show 11-13 megabytes/second download speeds; so they always tell me nothing is wrong. Even got a new router and such, still nothing.

My internet is slow as hell buffering stuff sometimes and it bites. Oppo makes up for it.

Oh i know right, never fails when they show up thing just start working lol. When I had AT&T it happened all the time. I was paying for a speed a very seldom saw.
