True, I think unless you're a hardcore collector it's not worthy of its price tag. But if you're genuinely on the look out for a rare, classic, fast car, then $163K? Noh blohdy weh!

Step one: buy a very good condition 500e for about 15k
Step two: build twin turbo ls engine for $5-10k
Step three: put ls in 500e
Step four: ???????????
Step five: save 130 something grand AND have a car you can actually enjoy without worrying about rock chips or keeping it in perfect condition
