If you're at home today and looking for a movie to watch, check out "Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale" on Netflix.

Is that an angry/drunk Charlton Hestson as Santa?
Really a rather creepy poster.

It's not Heston.
It's also the strangest take on Santa I've ever seen. I was thoroughly entertained.
Bonus- here's the original Rare Exports short film. The feature film is sort of based on it, but different enough that you won't say "ok, i just wasted 90 minutes on a long version of an 8 minute short film"

All the violence and cockshots I expect of a Christmas film.

Nope, a fellow Estonian named Peeter Jakobi is the Santa.

He looks very angry/drunk/angry-drunk in that movie poster.

Well, he is. I don`t remember any shows/films where he had a "good" role. Always a bad or creepy guy.
