...if I have one christmas wish this year, it's that my dad's bottles of wine don't break in my luggage.
That would be a great blessing

Wrap your clothes around them and secure with rubber bands, like a safety sausage. I've done that several times, fold shirts in half top to bottom, then roll one up.

Well I didn't end seeing your comment. I ended up putting them in socks, and then wrapping extra socks around the neck and then putting them in plastic bags. It worked!
