likely a rural mail carrier Jeep. We have those all over the place up here. XJ Cherokees too. Rural carriers get a stipend for owning the car, and there are a ton of conversions out there

You got mail to deliver or something?

I believe right hand drive jeeps were brought over for post office use in more rural areas. I've found more rhd jeeps than any other car.

Yeah but I believe those were all CJ's, I've never seen a former Post office Jeep that wasn't a CJ (or DJ as they were called).

My letter carriers drive a rhd Lumina and Legacy.

the lumina guy is just pocketing the stipend...good thinking. Other guy too depending on the age of the legacy

I can't imagine the miles those things are wracking up. The lumina has to be 20 years old.

can you imagine how many brake jobs that thing has had? luckily pads are like 10 bucks. Screw the rotors let em wobble

Luckily it is drums in the back. They've probably been replaced once.

Hmmm. A guy I used to wheel with had a TJ. Maybe I'll try and track him down and figure out where it came from. I almost bought one, but with plans to heavily modify I wasn't sure how compatible all the parts would be. Plus left hand shifting
