This is a lovely vintage Ferrari 250 Lusso that Lesney inexplicably painted teal. Because what kid doesn't want a Ferrari painted like a 95 Civic?
I didn't even know HW made a Stratos.
My parents started getting me Hess trucks in 1993, but I was born in 1991 so I always wanted 91 and 92. I found 92 a few years back, but 91 had been eluding me until today.
And some Star Wars and GI Joe.

I love the 250 GT Lusso. Basically a 250 GTO with more of this:

I'd argue it's more attractive than a GTO.

Dude, green is my absolute favorite color on the Lusso. Just look at this beauty!

As much as I loved GI Joe growing up, I missed out on the TV show and 6" figures.

That is indeed gorgeous. When I think Lusso, I think green. This teal though...

I'd agree with that argument.

Well, Matchbox/Lesney once painted a military recon vehicle metallic green, so there's that. I have the Stratos in that livery, but it's really playworn. Still love it, though.

I have a Lesney Mercedes COE truck that's practically the same color.
And the Stratos is so tempting to open. It needs to be sliding around turns. The GI Joe is pretty tempting to open as well.
