I've always liked how jury summons start with "Greetings"

Hopefully you won't get chosen. I've been summoned twice. One time was for a criminal case and the defendant saw the jury pool (pre selection) standing in the hallway and figured he ought to just take the plea. The other time was for a civil case where the plaintiff was BATSHIT CRAZY LOCO. I was jury foreman on that one. It was pretty clear that the plaintiff had no case and that his lawyer was a total rookie. Yet, some of my fellow jurors felt sorry for the guy and wanted to stick it to the defendant. It took a couple hours to convince them that the defendant being a prick wasn't a good enough reason to find for the plaintiff, because the guy's case was shite.
