After the reveal of the Key/Fob, here's the center console!
Thoughts? Has BMW gone out of their way with the i8/i3?

It looks really cheap. I also never really got on board with the whole joystick look that they implemented a few years back. I do really like the key fob and think that's a neat idea. Although I'm worried how quickly that sucker will drain.

I don't get it - where is the rest of your keys and other dangly stuff supposed to go? I'm assuming the fob is "comfort access" and you don't have to take it out of your pocket, so what is the point of that receptacle? Charging?

I love the i8 interior, BMW interiors are still the best in the industry as far as the perfect cross between driver involvement, luxury, and style. I just wish the engine from the new M3/4 was in it instead of that 3 cylinder...

I just drove my mother-in-law's x5 with the joystick yesterday, me no likey. The dash looks fine though, its really not that different from what they're doing now
