Lotus Carlton
Originally a Vauxhall Carlton/ Opel Omega, it was upgraded by Lotus who enlarged the straight six from a 3.0 to a 3.6 and added twin Garrett turbos providing 0.7 bar of boost starting at 1500 RPM. RWD with a 6 speed manual 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and 100 in less than 17 with a top speed of 177. It also had a Lotus tuned suspension and upgraded brakes.
I really hope they put this back in Forza one of my top ten Favorite cars.

I absolutely love these things. Kind of makes me wish Lotus would try this nowadays.

I grew up in Germany (from 14 to 21) and loved the boxy shape of these Omegas - even though the rounded ones that became the Catera were being sold. When I came to buy my first car I couldn't find one that met my dad's requirements (ABS, min 2 airbags). He also sat me down and gave me a good heart to heart and explained that I was his son and, like him, the only time I'd ever be going slow is when I had to park the car. He explained the difference between FWD and RWD and why FWD is better for a newly licensed speed demon (Bleifuß!) in our area's wet and snowy conditions.
I got a VW Golf 1.8 90 hp instead. That I'm alive to tell this story shows that it was a good idea.
