At having the worst drivers in America. Hooray!
Apparently this report says we're really bad at obeying traffic signals and wearing seat belts, extra careless in our driving, and we get a lot of tickets. This is just one more thing for us to be proud of down here, except that it cost us more to insure our cars.
Runners up are South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama, Florida and North Carolina... so essentially the entire southern US coast save for Georgia, who was only 14th best at having the worst drivers.

I find this hard to believe. Drivers in Vegas are TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Granted, we have a good mix of drivers from here, and drivers from everywhere else, but my god, the things I've seen!

Perhaps they're balanced out by the rest of Nevada?

Yes Vegas is bad (I lived in Nevada for 7 years and visited Vegas often)
The biggest reason for that is the lack of people from there driving as well as the fact there are so many people there driving cars that aren't theirs which makes it even worse.
By and large though the people I know from Vegas are fairly decent drivers.

Do you mean the vast emptiness that is filled with bases and test sites, or Reno? Because I'm pretty sure Reno is not much better.
