You know what you must do. Take one.

Whats the discount going to be like on those, now that the new CTS is out?

I actually took out the Wagon the night before :D

The V and the Coupe are unchanged for 2014 so there's no real discount but they should have at least cut the price a bit lol.

You're living the life. Manual!!!!!!!!

haha I have to stay sane somehow. We're like 100 cars overstocked.

All you have to do is show them this car, the Corvette, or the new CTS-Vsport (do you guys have those yet?)
![]() 12/14/2013 at 16:02 |

Well we don't have any Corvettes as since we're within 10 miles of another Chevy dealer and no sadly no V-Sports yet. We did get a metric fuck-ton of XTS V-Sports though and that thing is way too heavy to make use of all that power.

Oh and CTS-Vs fly off the lot as if they're not $75k lol. I mean for the price, you really can't beat its fantastic fit and finish which is miles above a regular CTS.

My dad and I went to a dealer to check a vette out, they wouldn't even let him drive it. They also said that if we to order one now we'd get by summer. As for the XTS, I don't understand why Cadillac even made that car. What is it supposed to compete against? It does look nice, but the CTS/ATS looks better and are RWD based.
![]() 12/14/2013 at 16:12 |

The XTS was made to re-capture the Deville crowd which tend to be afraid of anything RWD. It's not working.

What kind of dealership is that lol? How can you sell a car if people can't drive it. I mean I understand if they only have one and it's on the showfloor but wow. That's just bad business.

Cadillac seems like it's going in the right direction when it comes to everything except that. Every time I see one I think to myself "Why did you buy that?"

It was not on the show floor. It was sitting in their service garage, parked in the corner. It was a blue one with a black stripe on the hood (some sort of first edition) with about every option known to man at about $75k. He did let us turn it on and open the exhaust baffles however. It is a great sounding car.

I mean did it have a dealer plate on it? It may have been his demo.
![]() 12/14/2013 at 17:16 |

Maybe. I took this picture and just noticed it doesn't have a front plate. If it was a demo then why wouldn't they let him drive it? weird.
![]() 12/14/2013 at 17:18 |

That looks way too clean to be a demo or even a car that would sit in the lot. Looks like it's waiting to go on the floor.

I was thinking that as well. The guy kept saying "We had to win a lottery to get one of these." He said it was one of the first 500 cars produced. I don't think it's worth around $10k over what it would cost regularly.

To the right idiot, it is lol. I did see a couple Stingrays heading towards the Chevy dealer near me with Michigan Manufacturer plates. Maybe they also won a lottery.

I'm sure they'll get a dumbass with enough money to come in looking to buy his wife a suburban and say "Ooh what's that?" Then end up taking it home. It is a great looking car though.

I believe that is one of the Special Edition C7s, they are called the "Premiere Edition."
![]() 12/14/2013 at 18:12 |

More like "pointlessly expensive" editions.

Which Cadillac dealer is that? There aren't many so large and the only one that springs to mind off the top of my head is Moore.

King O'Rourke in Smithtown, NY
