A while back on a now-defuct board, a V6 Camaro-er was going through a turbo build with the GF helping. They asked for SR20s and they got it alright. Whatever angle they wanted, too. That one shot he got of her bent over the engine bay with her back turned made him the hero of that thread...but looking back...yeah, that's a really uncool thing to do to your GF...

No, actually - even though we joke about it as I just did - I don't think anyone in our community would really sr20 their ladyfriends, especially in the manner I witnessed in that build thread. I was just relating a story from the darker corners of the online auto community is all.

I think you're probably right. We tend to self-weed those ones out.

The only folks who have done that, have actually done it to themselves, sometimes to finally silence people to accept that maybe there really are women on the internet (which is sad in and of itself).

Oh man, I was playing WoW one time, and this guy in trade chat blew up at anyone who dare suggested anyone born with ovaries would ever play the game. Everyone was laughing at him because its the one PC game with a high percentage of female players. He stormed outta there after a GM told him to quit it or get a temp ban. LOL

That's hilarious. I know far more female WoW players than male. By like a 2:1 ratio. Even from fairly early on in the lifecycle of the game.
