When you can have one of these ?
Sorry for the ultra-potato picture, I was in a hurry. But seriously, this thing right here. It simulates racecars.

I approve.

Hard to tell at first glance, but it seems some of the simulated experience may be...less vivid...

Strange, it doesn't look like a Miata.

It plugs into this, very realistic, I have one on order. Takes 3-6 months to be hand crafted.

Race cars are Miata simulators.

Data Logger?

Close, but no cigar.
I cave. It feeds false signals into an old datalogging system so you could check a setup before installation on a car, or debug while on a car. Not used anymore, but still awesome and hilarious.

so it is basically the inverse of a data logger...a data faker

A data logger?
![]() 12/12/2013 at 19:29 |

Exactly!
![]() 12/12/2013 at 19:29 |
|
The opposite of a datalogger. A data faker, also known as a racecar simulator.

Quite interesting! But what does it do exactly? Do you have to plug it on the car?
![]() 12/12/2013 at 19:53 |
|
You plug it into a datalogger to test it.

Ohhh now I see exactly! I never knew this. I learn everyday!
