Since this is a thing... hi.
Much to my chagrin, I recently found myself in my mid-40's. I live in Seattle with my wife and teen stepdaughter (pray for me). I play geologist for a living and play outside on rocks and snow when time permits. I drive a crappy pickup and ride a somewhat cool motorcycle. I read, typically sf and history, and recently discovered that people still play d&d. I started taking kung fu to be a beginner at something again. I grew up farming on the High Plains and learned to drive manual in an assortment of farm trucks at a young age.
