Seriously, is there any major motorsport event, that wasn't won by Germans, this year?
F1, with Vettel,
WEC and Le Mans.
VW in WRC
24 hours of Nurburgring
Good thing they're not in NASCAR, too.

Bring the BMW 5 series to NASCAR, not the Vw. Unless vw runs a w8

Guess what...
THEY WON DTM TOO...
Oh my GAWD!!!

That's not Niki Lauda...

But VW was rumored to join NASCAR, not BMW.
As for BMW and Mercedes, they don't do so great, in motorsports right now. Maybe Mercedes should move the F1 hq, from Britain to Germany, and enter WTCC.
As for BMW, they are yet to launch themselves into a major motorsport campaign.

ALMS GT was won by Corvette

Obviously, there's only Germans in the DTM, right now, but things could change, pretty soon.

The Vettes won ALMS again... ahead of the BMWs, no less!

Not really their fault, they don't have a focused enough sports car, for endurance racing. Things could change, once the joint project, they have with Toyota, will bare fruits.

Ooooooooooh. Those sketches look nice.

Really hope that's going to happen, but I can't immagine them to win it very soon...

Oh and NASCAR was won by a Chevrolet... GM owns Chevrolet, GM owns Opel... Opel is german, so close enough.

Bathurst. Erebus in their mercs did pretty terribly.
The whole V8 Supercars series was pretty off colour for them.

Porsche won GTC in ALMS

Like I said, they don't have a good enough car, to base their GTE car, on it.

BMW still came in second though, by 20 points. It still beat out the Viper, the Porsche 911 RSR, and the 458 which are all very capable and proven endurance racing chassis. It's very fast in corners, and the drivers actually love it. Sitting over the rear axle means you get a better sense of traction as compared to other cars

The Z4 were fantastic. Were lacking on power and straight line speed, but they might have been the best handling of all the GTE cars.

Still, it's a KTM.

Oh, whoops, missed that. It was a better joke than I realised :)
The joke I should have made, in that case, was about Lauda helping them get into the car...
