in keeping with the "childhood dream cars" themes today (*

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
sounds really good, but i think i would have gone with something bigger than a 2.0 liter V6. granted, it is a V6 from Maserati (so it sounds very good as you hear in the vid) and the car apparently weighs less than 2000 pounds (from what i gathered on the video - it's in Italian). but it just seems like a proper Batmobile needs a BIG engine. i would have doubled the cylinders at least, to a V12. but, with a bonnet that long i'd go with an inline 12. now that'd be something...

hell yeah it was!
unlike today's animated shows (which i do have faves), B:TAS was hand-drawn/hand-painted, shot on film, used a live orchestra for the music and score for every episode, and had really good writing!

My brother and I were talking the other day about how much we loved that show as kids. I never got into a lot of the other comic book series, and I think a lot of it has to do with just how good B:TAS was and how high it set the bar; the rest of those series just didn't grab my attention the same way.

Best version of Batman ever, IMO. Best Joker ever, too.

Awesome job lol. If the roof was a little lower, the car a little wider, it would have looked amazing. Also, he should tint those windows, would make it look ten times better.

completely agree on your three points! i'll also throw in "atleast a V8" because, while that Maserati V6 sounds good i think the Batmobile should have a big engine on principle alone. maybe even a W16 from the Veyron... ha!
