Robbie Nishida has been using an SC300 in Formula D for quite some time now...

…. Yea and there this one which is semi old now.
(Damn kinja)
But its not everyday one gets shared stance nation, in a world of 240's a SC is rare.

Yea, I hate kinja …. its edited now.
But I actually didn't know there were any other previous SC400 owners on oppo.
I think I will always have the want for a nice 300 with a turbo in the back of my mind.

There's a spreadsheet around here somewhere that was used to list what cars Oppo's have previously owned. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few other SC (current or former) owners around here.

Yea, I entered my current car on there, and then started to scroll. Then realized how big Oppo's community is and gave up lol.
If you don't mind me asking, why did you get rid of yours? Its fairly obvious why I had to move on.

I woke up to a flat tire, again. The rear suspension needed some work and was killing tires far too often. I had been thinking about getting an SL or a CL for a while and finally decided to go test drive a few out of sheer frustration. I immediately fell in love with the CL 55 AMG I'm driving now. Unfortunately, it was just a tad bit out of my price range. Trading in the SC was the only way to get the payments where I wanted them.
My original plan was to keep the SC but I would have had to settle for a non-AMG Benz, or one with issues. The Lexus had over 240K on it.

Ho damn Cl 55, well at least that is quite the up grade. But I think its funny you had rear-suspension-killing-problems, sounds very familiar.

The Lexus SC300/400 (Toyota Soarer in Japanland) is actually a pretty popular drift chassis over there. In fact in Japan the Toyota JZX chassis is the the most-drifted car (Cressida, Crown, Chaser, Mark II, Mark X), as opposed to the US where Nissan S-chassis are the be-all-end-all.

Hey, you stole my Lexus tire!
The CL55 was a nice change but it's noticeably heavier. The power more than makes up for it. Driving the Lexus was more a relaxing experience. Being behind the wheel of the CL somehow triggers a voice in my head that says "Go faster! No, that's not fast enough, push harder" It almost makes you want to drive angry. Before you know it, you're at the gas station again. LOL
