Four more months until April. It's days like these when I really miss living in Florida.

I'm not a fan either!

Well I just laughed for the first time today... thank you for that.

the worst part is driving on it.

Well, if I get frostbite, I will be the first one to call me a dumbass. :)

Seriously, what a nightmare.

Under the most ideal conditions, you are correct, however the worst part should probably be reserved for crashing on it.

Looks like someone got to enjoy some freezing rain! Something I had never heard of until I got here in Alaska.

Mother of God.

Ha ha the worst part about it is that we only have a one car garage. So the Aveo gets to be all nice and cozy in the heated garage while the Dakota (14 years old almost) gets to freeze it's ass off! Can't really drive the truck anyways so I guess it works.

heated garage
Man, that sounds wonderful.

Aveo?
Okay, I feel better now. My wife drives an Aveo 5 door.
Also, I know the feeling, because my wife's car gets the garage when it isn't being cluttered up in anticipation of kid #2.

Not for me it isn't.

Ha ha yea. It's alright. In a house that was built in the early seventies (that I had to sign a waiver for understanding that I "could" be in a house with lead-based paint), I'm just waiting for the heater to ignite and destroy my house.

To me, weather like this just means decreased 0 - 60 time, compromised lateral G's, abysmal braking performance, etc. It's like driving a Yugo on a normal day :(

Had a solid 1/8" of ice all around the car...took me about 30 minutes to de-ice the car.
Why don't more people actually do this? Not many things scare me, but large flying chunks of ice that can easily fly through my windshield, and even impale me, definitely scare the shit out of me.

(lives where it's seventy-one degrees F)
What ice?
