I've been wondering this for a while, and I think it might depend on what is being posted. I don't want to say I'm trying to avoid the junk because I love the little posts on here, but I think it may becoming more difficult for some longer exhaustive articles to get noticed.

I usually post long winded articles that I spend entirely way to much timing working on at 12:30 ET in hopes of them being noticed by !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but I think this might sacrifice total views on Oppo itself. I would assume themed/regular posts are best posted during primetime, but I have no idea.

9am - 12pm morning crowd, especially for FP publishing. Then 6pm - 10pm evening crowd.

All times and music Eastern.

Always morning. If you want views, post when the offices are slow, and the oppoites are busy wasting their morning away.

If you're gunning for the FP on the weekend, anytime works, just tweet @ballaban and he'll often repost to the FP.

It also depends on who you want to read your stuff. I spend much more time on Oppo on weekdays, so I've come to know that crowd better. There is definitely a different group on weekends and at night. So, I tend to post things mid-morning during the week, or schedule my posts for that time. However, I have noticed that I get faster replies at night, when people aren't busy with work.

Yeah I spent some time talking with a GP3 driver and posted a blurb on what it he was like and that's exactly when Paul walker news blew up relegating it to the unknown files quickly...and that was understandable, but later on I posted on the Klaussenrennen hillclimb and the amazing car that ran up it with wonderful sound and with all the Paul Walker posts still going on it got on to the lost pages even faster.

So I don't know. If there's a quality piece you worked on and there's some big news happening I might save it until people have stopped grieving or stopped caring about the big event(s). Time of day however? I want to say breakfast time or quittin time east coast as they are the first ones to get active again...I'm not craving attention but I do understand that it's nice to see a result to a lot of time spent on a really interesting piece

I had a lot of views on the thing I posted at 5pm ET today. I think it's because it was Friday and everyone was just waiting leave work. Usually I think before noon on weekdays is your best bet.

Maybe around 10 o clock am EST. Or when people wake up, eat breakfast and enjoy oppo. (Like me)
