Going to Cross Fit is like going to a military aircraft assembly line or a CIA career fair. I have never seen so many poorly-designed motivational graphics or heard so many cliche catch phrases in my life.
Last one I heard was, "The more thou sweat in training, the less thou bleed in battle."

That one is true if you've bled all that blood away, though.

There are CIA Career Fairs? I might be good at that where do I sign up?

If you can't find it, do you really think you're CIA material?

I am. I'm using sources to obtain information. I need to be able to cultivate informants, right?

Should've bought a LeMons car, dude.
Pushing an inoperable POS > carrying pointless giant tire.

This one wasn't so bad in that regard. No posters or anything and zero focus on the motivational mumbo jumbo by the instructor. The only thing they said to me was "that is not what a pull-up is supposed to look like."

Are you sure you were at Cross Fit?

I think the car is a less expensive deal in the long run, too.
On the bright side, the timing of this probably helped my kid get accepted to her school. We met with the teachers today and I was limping and gimping all over the place. At one point we had to climb some stairs and I waved them off, saying I'd catch up with them. I think they thought I had polio or something and took pity.
