note: at this temp, your skin will briefly stick to a metal shift knob, this will improve your shifts through increased shift knob traction, but there are zero other bonuses

Gloves are awesome. Metal shift knobs are not.

Do you own driving gloves? That would most likely help.

I don't, and my family know I'm a car enthusiast, you'd think one of them would have given the obligatory driving glove christmas gift at some point in the past

Damnnnnnnnnnnnn that's cold weather for a rag top, metal shifter or not. I've never owned one, I'd just assume they're cold as hell in the winter. How many miles you have on that car? S2000s were the attainable sports car of my childhood, nice choice.

I was thinking of just throwing the glove on the knob until it warms up, but that works too!

To bad it isn't attached to an MP4-12c.

well, now you have a gift idea for this year!! a friend of mine uses the bottom of his coffee cup (with closed lid) and rests it there wile the car is warming up, he says it helps but it's anyone's guess.

That's what I like about the AP2 sifter, it's wrapped in leather.
