The price was high BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT. Taking a trip to florida from virginia at the end of the month and I needed the racks for a cargo box, 4 of will be taking the trek down in my already tight 4 seater..... the trunk will not fit the ladies luggage, so I have to uprgrade!

Yea, it also looks better IMO compared to the Yakima and other brands I was looking at. Also on the VW forums, everyone seems to use Thule.
