One of the greatest joys in life is buying a classic vehicle for less than the cost of scrap. And you get there to haul it off and turn the key, and it starts, in 18 degree weather, and its a diesel that hasn't run in 4 years. 81 vw caddy, 200 bucks, needs some body work. Just about worth it for the BBS's on it. Edit: repost, now with pics!

I had one in red. Lots of fun, and the *top* on it is worth more than you paid. However, if it has A/C, make sure all accessories are not working loose. Drove me nuts on mine.
