Just watched Bullitt on TCM. (Tues. Eve) Have not seen that in many, many years. This time I was able to concentrate on the other cars that are extras in the movie. Holy Crap, there was some fine stuff in that movie.

I watched it too. Did you notice how many times they passed that green Beetle during the car chase?

A while ago, I did a write up on the car chase in The Seven-Ups . It talks about Bill Hickman, who drove the Pontiac Grand Ville in The Seven-Ups as well as the Charger in Bullitt .

I was about to mention the green Beetle. I like to think that was just the hip car and color in San Fran that year. Also don't forget the white Firebird.
