Something tells me that red is not the best-looking colour on this fine piece of hooning machinery. Still looks mighty appealing to me.

Very much so. The reflectors in the bumper drown in the sea of read, toon, and the array of intricate details pretty much gets lost in there, too, e.g. the spoiler details.

Wow...that's a really small engine trunk compared to the 997.

So basically any maintenance will require the entire engine being dropped?

That would be correct. It was the same story with any serious maintenance on a 997 though.

On top of the dash in the center* Couldn't tell what instrument it was. Also that steering wheel is sexy as hell.

Oh I'm sorry. Yeah, the dial on top of the dash acts as a clock, and then a chronograph when you want to use it to time your laps.

i assume some of it is able to be accessed while on a lift, lets face it, 991 turbo s owners are not going to wrench on their own car, ever, even 20 years from now when they're old.

I've seen them change air filters on 991's, and what they do is remove the bumper. There seems to be a lot of access once that's off, so hopefully you don't need to remove the engine for any other maintenance.
