Let's see, 1/4 of the page is (off) white space, another quarter is just the top stories banner (wasn't The Best of Oppositelock our 'top stories'?), which leaves only half a page for posts. Y'know, the whole point we are here. Big pictures also need to come back. On the plus side, I kind of like that the search bar is now always open. Overall, not a good redesign, but I will just sit here and be patient and within a week or two, hopefully, most of the junk will be gone.

The problems won't get fixed. That's how Gawker web development works. They wait until people finally adapt to problems and then introduce new ones.

When the last change happened (less than a year ago, I think), things like small pictures was the default. They eventually changed it for us, which is what I am hoping they do again.
