I’ve just cleared my bottle of “Mr. Pink” from Chemical Guys. Before that I had “Citrus Wash & Gloss” also from Chemical Guys. Before that I used Griot’s Garage’s pink car wash almost exclusively.

I bought the Mr. Pink because I bought a foam cannon and it was recommended for foam cannons. The novelty of the foam cannon wore off (after the 1st or second wash) and I’m back to the two bucket method.

So Oppo, what do ya like?

I use the chemical guys citrus clear right now because I got it in one of their grab bags. Works great.

I use a combination of soaps. I have a concentrated one from mothers that I mix to different ratios depending on what I am doing (more soap for heavy dirt, bugs, prepping for wax) or if I am just doing a quick wash, just a chemical guys wash and wax.

Same, the jug lasts me like 3 or 4 years and I’m washing 3 cars.

Dawn

If it’s good enough for baby ducks it’s good enough for your car

The issue with using Dawn ( or other dish soaps ) on cars is they will wash away the paint’s natural oils which will lead to a quicker deterioration of paint’s shine.

I use Gtechniq Gwash, it’s £8.95 for 250ml up to £45 for 5 litres.

It’s very slick and ‘lubricious’, has no gloss enhancers, safe for coatings and sealants, leaves no residue, etc... can b e diluted 1:1800. It’s been my go-to for 11 years.

I’ve used Gtechniq UVwash (for yachts) on cars as it imparts UV protection and anti static properties to the surface. But Gtechniq discontinued it.

Gyeon Bathe and Gyeon Bathe+ are pretty good also.

Great for stripping wax and drying out exterior plastics, too!

Meguiars gold class soap through the foam cannon of my pressure washer, scrub truck using a soft scrub brush and rinse. Clean tires using eagle tire cleaner.

On the ZR2 I use Mothers CMX spray wax.

So just wipe er down with 10w30 when you’re done with the dawn, what’s the issue? It’ll double as a polish, shiny

Rainx on the DD, and chemical guys on the porsches as they often get a wax and seems to lessen any remaining water spots.
