This truck is nearly $60K Canadian. So I asked...do you have anything cheaper with 4 wheel drive? “Oh yes” the salesman replied... Then he led me to the area behind the dealership...by the dumpsters. And there it was
Shift on the fly 4x4, power windows and AC....that’s about it. $30K at 1% for 74 months.... Mighty tempting.

Yeah I’ll take the 1/2 price one with a 6.5ft bed

C ould you make this into your overlanding rig?
![]() 09/27/2020 at 22:45 |

That markup is criminal. You can spend half as much as still get the essentials , cool steelies, and a useable sized bed?

I just spotted a blue one near me on Cars.com, and I’d be lying if I wasn’t thinking hard about it.

Right???

If it fit in my driveway, it'd be a good idea. Alas, not so much.

Well,

I may still by a ranger. I have an inquiry on a 2011 right now

God invented the sawzall for a reason.

That’s peasant spec if I’ve ever seen it. Still one of the best looking new trucks out there.

I’ll take two base 4x4s please not one luxed up bougie mobile.

I kinda the steelies. Makes a real work truck statement.
So this would make the Ram officially garage queen? I don’t remember if you can or do use it much anymore.

Ford has been selling these in the US for nearly two years, and I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen one.

I’m still seeing far more new Colorados than Rangers. Probably because V6 Z71

Ok that is a fkkn steal for a new 4x4. Who you kidding? If you’re in the market seriously, do it
![]() 09/28/2020 at 01:24 |

Just so you know. In Canada every single one is 4x4. Ford doesn't sell any 2wd.

Just out of curiosity, how much is the first one without all the dealer-installed aftermarket parts?
Also, that base Ranger looks cool, despite not having a stick. The base model has a lot of character.

Poverty spec is the best spec. Unless there are must have features that cannot be obtained through aftermarket companies, I’d say save your money and get the less expensive one. I own a white Ford F250 and the only regret I have i s I feel like I’m driving a commercial vehicle by not getting a different color. Try to find a color that doesn't make you feel like you're driving for a pest removal company.

WAAAA?
Huh, good to know

I didn’t look to closely at the sticker, but I’d guess $10K less

It is a garage queen anyway. I haven’t driven it for a month now :(

£23,994, 2.0 EcoBlue, Ranger XL.
![]() 09/28/2020 at 11:16 |

Ecoblue? Like diesel?
![]() 09/28/2020 at 11:42 |
|
Ye’, we only get it as a diesel here with the 2.0 diesel engine, the power ranges from 128bhp to 210bhp for the Raptor, the Raptor being auto only.
![]() 09/28/2020 at 12:21 |
|
It’s all petrol and auto only here. And 4x4 only in Canada apparently

:(
![]() 09/28/2020 at 15:28 |

That does only apply to the new body style.
![]() 09/28/2020 at 15:34 |

Here, diesel only, 3 manuals, 2 autos, 4 power outputs from the one 2.0 EcoBlue engine in 2 or 4 wheel drive, 3 body styles.
