The eyes & tongue looked great.

I packed in my other 2 winter tires with tread on them case I destroyed my front tires to point of absolute death.

With an unintended tire plan. Winters on back. When flipping my tires last night I noticed my fronts where showing cords. I had the event the next day. I could pull one more auto-x from the rear tires. I have my old winter tires still, so I put 2 of them on the back. Due to lack of rear grip it was much slower. On the flip side it rotated super easily, & was kinda fun to throw around with no rear grip.

Well, it’s better you had a slow lap time than shredded tires I’d assume? Plus, drifting is fun!

Maybe replace the rear tires with something less grippy than you had (but still more than the winter ones) as it could be fun and fast at the same time :)

One of my most favorite track day memories was in my ‘99 Civic bone stock hatchback with cruddy all-seasons on the rear and a set of front wheels w/ semi-slicks on them I borrowed from a friend that was also there.  I think I can best compare the experience to driving a full-sized drift kart; the rear end almost had a mind of its own.  Great car control training.  :)

Glad you had fun! The aim is to have fun and maybe do better than last time. Sounds like this time a little slower but a good training excersize.

My times where trash, but I be lying saying I did not have fun. Having very tail happy was quite fun.

Please tell me someone got video of your runs with those googly eyes! Where did you get them? I was actually thinking about car costumes for Halloween.
