No price listed and has a lot of miles but I sure wouldn’t kick it out of my garage. I mean, I’d remove and set fire to the Bushwhacker flares and insect LEDs the first weekend but otherwise... nice.

It’s about an hour or so from me and I’d be happy to look at it for you but I’d want more info and undercarriage pictures before I kill a good chunk of a Saturday. There are some TJ Moab rims for well below market in that direction that my dad may be interested in so if the stars align it could be a nice way to spend a day.

For what it’s worth I picked up a 2wd four door XJ back when I was in high school f or $800 as my first car and flipped/built  my way up to my (then) dream Jeep of a white 2 door XJ. 4.0, 4wd, winch, rockers, racks, etc. so any rust free XJ has a special place in my heart.

I disabled my FB account a couple of years ago so I don’t have an easy way to ask for more photos .

Please feel free to make inquiries , but definitely don’t go out of your way just for this. As appealing as it is I can’t imagine the seller would be willing to take what I can offer right now when I deduct the cost of shipping. I can easily see that going for 7k or more.

I’d be surprised if it went for $7k with that mileage in these parts. Even if he just put a reman in its still a $5-6k Jeep. It’ll either go for that or they will hold onto it.   I’ll send him a message and see if he even responds. Forget shipping though, flights are cheap and Ohio isn’t that far! Hell I’ll pick you up at RDU and drop you off if it goes through. With masks on of course.

Looks like some effort and care was taken with the switches and radio instal. Then that inverter sticking out of the dash gave me cancer.

Oh come on, who hasn’t wished they could just throw the coffee maker on the passenger seat. But I completely agree and felt the same way. It’s just a plug in, take the damned thing out.

He’s got a pending offer of $5k that he’s planning on taking. About what I figured based on the mileage. Real value is that the gearing and lockers are already done.

He’s got a pending offer for $5000. I’d say that’s right on the money for a two door with that drivetrain and lockers. Back in 2007 is when I bought my two door and I paid $4500 for it. Beat the crap out of it and sold it for $4200 when I went off to college so I don’t think the values are skyrocketing yet. They will though. I believe that a good 4.0 4wd Cherokee has always been at least $4000. It’s the $800 ones that have all disappeared.

That makes sense. As soon as I saw the equipment he mentioned, I figured it would bring nice money even at 200k miles.

Nope. I asked a few questions and all I got back was that he has a pending offer. I can ask for his number and let you take it from there if you’d like.

I’m a terrible car buying negotiator... when I bought my TJ I was so stoked I forgot to even talk price. Title was already signed over and we talked cars for a bit then I was like “oh shit, I guess you want some cash. I didn’t even try to haggle with you... can I get a fellow car guy discount?” That did work but not as well as if I had actually counter offered. I’m an easy mark when I’m buying something that I want.
