The owner of this car lives a couple miles from me, and he’s clearly one of us. He has a second of these in blue that he has built an engine for, and it sounds vicious when he revs it.
He also has two mid 80’s Daytonas, an early Dakota, and a Subaru SVX.

It has the louvered hood of a GLS but he’s debadged it so I’m not sure.

A friend of mine in high school had one of these. He always took really good care of it, but then h
ad to sell it for some reason or other. The kid he sold it to was exactly the sort of guy you don’t sell a nice car to, and sure enough, a month later the new owner wrapped it around a tree... he walked away fine, of course.

My mother had a Talbot Horizon (one of it’s clone) when i was very young, they replaced it with a FIAT Tipo when i was like 4 or 5 years old so i don’t remember it well but it was some kind of brown, probably like that :

My heart skipped a beat. My first car way back in high school was an old white Omni with a blue interior (they took those kind of color risks in the ‘80s).
Looking at this it does look a lot like one that was for sale in Columbus a year or
three ago..?
