Recently had a discussion related to the electric Ford F150. And the topic of towing an RV came up... where I got into the merits of RV Life vs just staying in hotels/motels/AirBnB... But anyway... it got me thinking of the old Starcraft Galaxy 8 my family had when I was young it looked like this:
And the interior (including the seat fabric looked like this:

Only ours didn’t have that optional closet you see behind the stove. In its place, was more seating.
And with the roof down, it looked like this:
Though the roof vent on ours was on the right side of the roof.

Now I’m experiencing feelings of almost a human nature... nostalgia and a bit of sadness. Clearly this will not do!!!

This is giving me flashbacks to camping in my family’s old Apache popup. I remember waking up in the morning on one of those canvassed beds and sliding into an ice cold pair of blue jeans.
Oh! And, man I haven’t even thought about it in ages, but I can just barely recall us having a little Bee Line trailer before that. A quick google search suggests that it was probably a Wasp, because to the best of my recollection, it looked just like this:

Rented one similar
off
RVezy
to go camping this summer, would recommend. Cost like $300 for a long weekend, sure
these things are pretty cheap to buy but
we’d never use it enough per year to justify owning one plus I don’t have space to
store. Was very nice to have a place to sit and eat indoors when it pissed down the first
night and morning we were there.

Fond memories of visiting my grandparents when they had
that Starcraft and then my aunt and uncle after it was willed to them. I can still smell the interior.
