recently threw on some rfp1's onto the ole gal. its not until you have bright silver wheels that you realize how much %!@ing brake dust the m-brakes toss off. oh well, i dig it anyways.

240i. the guy i bought it from last year de badged and had 18 inch m2 lookalike wheels on it . looked good but i wanted it to be its own thing instead of looking kind of like an m2. and thanks!

Wheels look great! But yeah, whatever pads bmw uses throw off absurd amounts of brake dust. A week of driving is enough to make the black wheels on my car brownish (at least up front.) I’m told akebono makes pass for your brakes which help a lot for dust.

I kinda want to paint my wheels bronze. I feel like that would make the dust even less noticeable, but I’m not sure I’d like that color on an off-white car.
