My car was washed on Saturday and has just been sitting in its covered but apparently well-ventilated parking spot since before smoke covered San Francisco :

Kinda like an F31, actually?

Needless to say, cars up and down the West Coast are not looking clean right about now, with mine probably being among the cleanest.

I’m thinking another wash is in my near future but I kinda with I had a leaf blower or something to just blow everything away Also glad I’m only dealing with this!

The worst time I ever had cleaning my car was when an abandoned warehouse caught fire next to the office building where I used to work. Our parking lot was right next to the warehouse, and ash and embers just rained down on our cars. The fire dept refused to let us move our cars for fear of building collapse.  It took hours of washing to get the ash off my car.

Oh jeez I think I am going to go down with an electric air matt ress pump and see if I can’t just blow most off it off If that fails I’ll be off to the self-service car wash to do a quick power wash and a very thorough dry. Worst case scenario involves the transatlantic kidnapping of a certain Oppo
