The second best part of staycation is your husband (or wife, I don't judge) making apple butter from scratch to go with cream cheese bread.

I could have gotten some Green, but that stuff kicks my ass. I stuck with Black because that doesn't seem to beat me down as much.

FYI, it’s minor. It’s not in the joint or the bone, but it’s been causing her pain so we’re getting rid of it before it becomes a problem.

While J.W. are in fact my initials, i can’t agree on the Johnnie Walker that to my (snob?) taste is overpriced bad blended whisky but it seems that good scotch is not readily available in north America (even before the new “ Trump tax”) .

A gree it’s not spectacular , but not a terrible mid range product . I admit I have switched to a local bourbon, (Woodinville Whiskey Straight Bourbon Whiskey,) but thought Black is a decent, high volume Whiskey at an affordable price point.

I’m trying to upgrade our internet, but it turns out this unit has never had cable so now we have to wait until Tuesday to fix it. Tuesday we will also be heading to IKEA to pick up a new bed frame. That's how I know we were meant to be together, we've built multiple pieces of IKEA furniture without coming to blows while putting it together.

That’s a good gauge. We went to Ikea a few weeks ago. First time post Covid. Had lunch there, which felt kinda risky to be honest but they had the protocols goin.

Johnny Walker Double Black is absolutely amazing. It gets a wonderful smokey flavor when you put 2 fingers with a single cube.
If you’re into Irish Whiskey at all, Proper Twelve is a great choice.
As far as “staycation”, is that what it’s called when you go to work as usual every day?

I tried Double Black and I didn’t like it. I’m perfectly willing to consider that it’s my fault, since everyone seems to love it.
In this case, staycation just means I'm off but didn't make plans to travel anywhere. I'd had a vacation planned back in July but COVID put a stop to those plans. I'm trying again next year.

Double Black is definitely a love it or hate it flavor, no one to fault but different tastes.
We had a lot of plans to do things with family this year, most of which got cancelled.
