Aw, you can fit more than that! You’re not even two pumpkins high in many places!

It’s all we had. We did pluck about a million zucchinis through the season though.

This is all we managed to grow this year. They grew so so large, but they didn’t produce that much.

What I'm hearing is that you need to put in the zucchinis to fill the truck to max capacity.

That’s a good crop. I love me some squash....

I picked quite a bit of squash last week, and took down the corn stalks. I have planted lettuce and spinach where the corn was. I don’t know if I waited too long before doing this, first frost is usually in early to mid October, but I will tarp if I need to. I couldn’t get a pumpkin to grow this year, they flowered but never developed fruit. Very disappointed in that, corn was very small too. I would blame it on the drought, but I watered daily, so it should have been fine.

They grow like a weed so it’s easy to fill a truck with those.

We did well with corn, ok with zucchini, really really bad with tomatoes and peppers. The squash and pumpkin load is as shown, decent but hardy worth it imo with all the work we put in.

I have so much zucchini spiralized in the freezer. I grew, and still growing, four typ es of squash. The butternut has done very well, the acorn looks good, zucchini and summer squa sh started slow but has done well. My tomatoes did exceptionally well ( 3 varieties), my peppers (2 varieties) are not ready yet. Plenty of beans, gree n, yellow and purple. Scallions did ok. Beets are tiny. Cukes and broccoli in abundance, chipmunks enjoyed the strawberries...... and the oregano. All other herbs did w ell.

I expanded the garden to 500 sq ft this year because of the pandemic and wanting more variety. In years past I have grown potatoes in raised beds , but last years crop was terrible, so I am growing carrots there. More winners than losers this year.  Corn has never been a winner for me, but I keep trying.

Nice, that’s a great garden, I thought you’d say California or somewhere else warmer.

I have lived in Califo rnia, but I grew up in New England and returned here in 2012. Growing season is short, usually nothing can go in the ground prior to Me morial day. The soil is acidic, sandy and rocks are everywhere. It has been said that rocks are the best crop in New England.

Blueberries should do well, but 2 of the six bushes I planted in 2013 have died and the other produce very little. I planted raspberry and black berry bushes this year from root stock and looks like they didn’t take well to where I put them.

I’m not that far up, but I do have plenty of relatives from mom’s side of the family that live in Canada. I’m in the lakes re gion of York county, along the Salmon Falls river.

The two we have left are so large, I’d need to cut them in thirds before they’d fit.

Doesn’t pass the zucchini test, huh? That’s one of the standard glovebox measurements.
