Spotted a Frontenac today. For those who don’t know (i.e. everyone but SM70 and the Canadians), Frontenac was a Canada-only Ford to be sold at Meteor dealers. It’s basically a Falcon with a different grille, according to Wikipedia. It was only sold in 1960, making this a pretty rare find!
Bets on whether Dashes-Doorhandles-And-Bondo knows exactly where this car is, or if he’ll make an offer on it?

Frontenac was its own separate, single-model brand for 1960, similar to what Chrysler did with the Valiant name that year only. I’d say it’d be worth saving at least the unique trim bits to transfer to a normal Falcon, but the whole car looks pretty solid.

I went down an internet rabbit hole of Canadian cars a while back and remember finding it interesting that Ford thought they could sell badge-engineered Falcons by saying it was a car only Canadians could have. Personally, I’d love an Acadian Beaumont ...

If you click on the image you get a less compressed version. I can see it, but just barely. At first I thought it was some sort of faux third headlamp. Very fine! Might be better looking than the US market Falcon.

Peculiar looking little Falcon has a peculiar name.
I like it just because of what it is, but I wouldn’t call it a looker.
