Labour Day is great in that I plan on doing zero labour.
I woke up at around 7:30 for a sip of water, browsed a bit of reddit, and then went back to sleep until 10:30. It was sweeeeet.
I’m waiting for some groceries to be delivered today (which I wasn’t expecting since I figured it would’ve been done either yesterday or tomorrow on a non-Labour Day) at which point I should be able to cook up a nice Korean spicy pork stir fry. That’ll be the most “work” I’ll end up doing today, but at least the results will be immediate and delicious.

Happy Labour Day! Slept in till 8:30 and made French toast. Since I got all the Jeep maintenance done the last couple of days, I think I’ll do the same as you and relax. I wanted to learn Anthem front to back....maybe today will be a guitar day.

Happy Labour Day to you too! I slept in until 8am, then went off to a computer repair appointment for my side-gig from teaching and am now watching the latest Junkyard Digs episode on the big screen while I fix up another two computers :)

Wife and kids are out of town, which means I got to enjoy a nice breakfast of coffee and a cigar while working on motorcycles. Gonna go on a ride until it is too hot, then lift some weights before going over to my pops for a swim. Then tonight I’ll catch up on some lectures and lesson planning.

My first [full] day off after a shit 3 week outing working . I lucked out with taking and timing the ferry yesterday instead of the circus it will be today.
Did a little ride yesterday late evening. Looking forward to afternoon and 20’s for some carving this week as it looks to be sunny . Only a few weeks left before it starts getting colder.
Today marks exactly 3 years since I bought the bike and started riding, it sits at 30k km. Need to pick up the rest of the parts tomorrow: front pads, rear tire, coolant change, oil change and air filter clean. B e good to go for another year.

I went to bed at 2 last night and my body decided that I would sleep 12 hours. Wow, I was more tired than I thought. Some of my friends are at colleges with a short track semester that doesn't include breaks so they don't get a labor day but we do.

Went on a date with Mrs. BaconSandwich - watched Bill and Ted Face the Music. It was pretty entertaining.
